In the first quarter of 2022, the top five navigation and maps apps on iOS in Norway exhibited diverse performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Google Maps saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.3K in early January and peaking at 6.2K by late March. Weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, beginning at approximately 957K and reaching over 1.07M by the end of the quarter.
Google Earth experienced fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Downloads started at 3.2K in late December, dipped to around 1.5K in early February, and then climbed back to nearly 2K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 15.4K and ending the quarter at around 14.5K.
Skisporet had a varied performance in downloads, beginning at 1.6K and peaking at 2.1K in early January.
